Day 26 Vietnam Tour

Sorry to myself, but I could not update my blog for past 10 days. This is because I was very heavily tired with work. Not with my works, works of taking through the works done by others. I would have been happy if some one comment on my work. Some others do the work wrong and if they don't do work correctly, I get the blames. So crazy. Leave it. Don't want to bore people who were interested in my blog.

Today morning I prepared egg friend rice, my favorite dish along with corn flakes. We prepared Yellow Dal for lunch and went to office by 8.30 Am. Every one were surprised seeing me so early :).

And after that continuously till 12, I didn't do any work but attending meetings. In software field, meeting is an hectic schedule. Now I can understand how managers feel when they attend so many meetings.


Finally I went to one of the famous Indian Restaurants in Vietnam, Ganesha in District 7 at night. It is near to Sky Gardens, One of the posh localities in Vietnam. As it is just 3 kms from our company, We went there for dinner along with my colleagues.

This was my first visit to an Indian Hotel in Vietnam. Some good food today.

Day 15 Vietnam Trip

I reached Vietnam on 15th of February. I thought I would update this blog every day about the things I did today but had no time at all to update.

Day 15 Vietnam Trip

Got up early in the morning, completed bathing. Today I prepared Dal as it is very difficult to eat bread and Amlet (here they say it as oopla). So prepared it early in the morning and reach office at 10.

And in Office it is the same old work. Full busy schedule. And came back to home at 8 pm. It is very tiring in office as we don't get rest at all. As we are managing many features and giving support, it takes some time to get used.

Today I tried to install Fedora 13 in new machines, but it was not at all loading. Crazy thing his here we only get USB mouse and Keyboard and I got older machine which I wanted to install Fedora 9.

But that machine doesn't even allow to attach with new DVD writer to install fedora 9. So bad that fedora 13 doesn't support fedora 9. Anyway leave the office work aside.

Came back at the evening at 8. Went to super market next to my home. Purchased one kilo of tomato. Do you know the price. It is 16,000 Dong which is approximately 1 USD. I don't know who said vietnam is poor country with this much costly prices.

Purchased some apples which are around 120000 Dong which is 6 USD. But no option but to have some food early in the morning. Good thing is we get milk here (only 40,000 Dong i.e. 2 USD per litre). So I eat corn flakes early in the morning and prepare some Maggi.

Night we prepared Biryani and Dal. My two room mates are very good in cooking and so I help in cutting vegetables and they are very good in cooking.

After dinner, spoke one of my best friends Nitin. So one more day in Vietnam is complete. Lets see what I did tomorrow. Life is going boring as I am doing nothing new here.
